Last night at bedtime, I did my usual rounds in the house making sure the front door was locked, Presley had covers on her, her bathroom light was on & all others were out, the back door was locked, and then I checked the garage. When I opend the garage door to make sure I didn't leave the garage door opened, I hear this hissing sound.
I asked John if the sprinklers were on...that's a similiar sound. He came to the garage to check out what I was talking about. There was a pipe or tube that is connected, or was, to the hot water heater that has a leak in it. It was hissing air or something.
Anyways, to make a long story short.....We have no hot water today! Why can't this stuff happen on a Friday or Saturday....or even Sunday morning????????? Why does this stuff happen right before bedtime on the day before John has to get up early to go to work???????? I don't know either! Just our luck though. Today is my laundry day too. I usually wash with cold water anyways, but the point of this being my laundry day is that I don't like leaving the house until my laundry is done and the house is picked up from our weekend.
So that I and the girls can have a hot shower, we are going to do what John did this morning. We are going to the gym for a quick workout and a hot shower! Luckily they have a family bathroom with huge showers so I can go get the girls after my workout and let them shower too. So that means my laundry and housework day will probably now take 2 days....I can't mop with cold water.

Yesterday the girls decorated their stockings. They came out cute & they had fun doing them.

Oh! I'm so sorry about your hot water.
When I read about a "hiss" I thought you were going to say you had a snake in your garage.
