Name Change....

I've heard, "Mommy" "Mommy" "Mommy", too many times today.

So I told Presley that I was going to change my name.

She asked why and I explained to her that they were wearing out my "mommy" name.

She said, "good thing you have another name. We'll just call you "Tonya"."

What A Week!

It's been a while since I have blogged, so I have a little time tonight to sum up our week in one blog entry. Luckily I take picture like crazy, so it's kinda already time lined for me!

Monday, John worked late so I fed the girls early & I so happy to say that it's taken 4 years to get this picture! Presley is eating broccoli!!!!! She has to try it at any meal we have it at and she is just now starting to like it! I am sooooooooo glad I never gave up!

Piper on the other hand is my little Mikey! She'll eat nearly anything!

Tuesday evening, I had made dinner and we were just about to sit down and eat when we got a phone call from Remax asking to show our house in like 10 minutes..... I threw lids on everything and packed it all up and John called our neighbor, Ivan, to see if we could go over there to eat and hang out. He's the sweetest! So we finished our dinner on his coffee table and watched cartoons.

After that the girls jumped on Andy's trampoline and John worked on the fence. Maggie wasn't too happy with John since he's closing up the yard. That means, she only has one yard to run around in. Poor thing.....Whatever!

Wednesday Nater came over and John worked from home and Preston movie grill was doing their kid's movie series and showed Coraline. That run on sentence equaled a long full day for the kids and great nap time!! After the movie we went to eat at Sweet Tomatoes. That is the BEST salad bar ever!

Later that night, Richard and Kat came over. Kat watched trash TV with me and Richard helped John replace the radiator in my old truck. They got so filthy! I think they rubbed grease on each other when we weren't watching. Really......Richard had it all over him! And why did the boy wear white???? He was funny!

Geeze...I hope there are NO parts left over! LOL

The guys really had fun working on the car! It was fun to watch!

Thursday, Nate came over again. We went to the library for the morning and the kids got to buy a book and rent a couple of cartoons. One of which was School House Rocks. That Rocks! And the put on a puppet show for me.

After the library, we met John for lunch at Pei Wei and headed home for a nap. After nap time, we had a little body art time.

That night, John caught a Dragonfly for the girls to check out. That was pretty cool. We let it go free after a few minutes of awwwwww's.

And Friday we had another showing early in the morning. So we showered and had to head out for breakfast! We went to Ikea for cartoons and breakfast. YUM!

And it was such a gorgeous day, so we took advantage of the weather and went to the park.

After the park, we went home to change Piper's muddy shoes then headed to Sam's to walk around, eat samples, and have lunch.

Wheeeeew, what a long day. Even after the kids had a nap, Nate was still wiped out. He was relaxing on the couch and Piper lifted his arm up and laid right next to him. So sweet!

Maggie Bell wasn't having any one sleeping. She licked the kids back awake!

Saturday, the family got together for Kim's b-day. Why Oh Why, does she continue to pick Chili's???? I told her she isn't allowed to pick her birthday dinner next year!

Presley saw a pick about to be taken, so jumped right up into Richard's arms to be apart of the pic. Too cute!

Welp, that's my week in a nut shell.

Tomorrow starts with another house showing....Hopefully they'll fall in love with the house and buy it! I am beginning to get burnt out on cleaning every night!

I Feel Soooo VIOLATED!!!

Okay, today we had to leave the house two different times so people can come and dream about owning our little house. WELL....when we came back from leaving for the 2nd showing....my jaw just hit the floor! The girls toys were all over their floor and their toy boxes were OPENED!!!!!!!!! I scooped up everything and threw it in the sink! I was soooooo disgusted that some parent left their kids to play by themselves in my kids rooms while they did whatever they did! DAMN....I wanted my house to feel "homey" but I don't want people to feel at "home"!

I hope they get Scarlet Fever and Bronchitis AND I hope Maggie scared those darn kids!

I am so mad! Why would you let your kids loose in a strangers home?
I did call our realtor and he's mad too! He's gonna talk to the the people who showed the house.

Freakin' PEOPLE!
After they've enjoyed themselves in my house, they better buy it!

Guess Who's Sick This Week!

Welp, as everyone knows, it seems like my girls are always sick.

So guess who is sick this week.
Come on...take a guess.
You have 2 choices: Presley or Piper. And if you picked Piper, your wrong. She was sick last week.

I think they the one that is sick caught it from Chuck E Cheese Saturday when John took them while I was Aubrey's shower.

Welp, It's Presley!!!!!!!!!
She's been running a low grade temp since Monday. I kinda dismissed it since kids often run temps. But then she started complaining of sore throat and coughing at night. I thought she may be coming down with John's bronchitis (oh, yea. he has bronchitis).

So this morning her temp started to rise and I took her to see her doc.

So, do you want to guess what she was diagnosed with???
I'll give you a hint. She began breaking out with a rash while we were in the doctors office. How weird is that? So have you guessed yet?

Well, I'll just tell you. She has Scarlet Fever!!!!!! UGGGGG!

And the pharmacy shorted me medicine and I have to go back tomorrow to pick up the rest!

Okay, so that's that.

Day One

Today was day one of the house being on the market. John worked from home today so we took this opportunity to go visit some apartments that we would consider moving into while we looked for our new home. The girls had fun touching everything in that model apartment! They loved the 7 pools and everything!

Tonight before putting Presley to bed, I asked her how she felt about selling the house and moving into an apartment. She was so sad. I wanted to cry for her. She said she didn't like apartments and she didn't want to sell her house. If we did sell our house, she wanted another one. I think the apartment didn't feel like a home to her.

I think she'll be fine if we redirect our search to houses instead of apartments.

Okay, I am going to bed...

It's Official!!!!

Presley asked if we get to take her dresser & bed with us or if we had to use the ones we see on the Internet in all those other houses. Cute, huh.

Ugggg, welp, tomorrow starts the day that I have to get up at the crack of dawn and be ready to leave the house when they call me to show it.

What makes me REALLY REALLY nervous is that the house that went up for sale last week around the corner was the exact same floor plan and it is now under contract! I want their luck!!! But if that happens to us, we'll definitely be moving to an apartment. There aren't any houses out there that I have seen that I really like.

Okay guys, keep your fingers, toes, legs, and eyes crossed for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One Lump or Two???

This weekend we (Liza & I) threw our cuz, Aubrey, her Bridal Shower and Tea party. Aubrey had a great time, as did all of her guests!

Liza and I were a couple of dorks though! We were like little girls having a tea party! All giggly and stuff with all the cute tea sandwiches, yummilicious deserts, tea cups, tea party accessories (mostly the honey dipper thingy).

And my MOM got the 1st two lumps of sugar! I was a MEGA dork too! She walked over and I served her sugar to her and I asked her, "One lump or two?". Lordy, how nerdy am I!!!! We giggle and she took two. Sooo funny!

We had a great time with great games and great food and great tea! We had hot blueberry tea, hot gunpowder mint tea, and a really nice hot Japanese green tea.

The party was terrific! If I might add, we rocked at planning that party as we balance our day to day life with 4 kids between the two of us! We rock!!! And so does Aunt Deb (for lending us her house & some cool dishes), John (for doing much of the shopping), the grandmothers (for lending us the napkins), and Nick & John (for all the support and funding the party)!!!
