80's Memories

On Saturday, the girls had a party invitation to Garrison's 5th birthday party. His party was being held at the Plano's Thunderbird Skating Rink. I can't believe it. So funny and brings back so many memories from Jr. High when I use to go to the skating rink. John asked if he needed to find his old heavy metal shirts. Just so happens that on the way out there, Def Leppard was playing on the radio. Too Funny!
Presley had a great time. She was somewhat disappointed though that she couldn't go as fast as the other people. John even had a good time and won a prize from playing the roll the dice game. He got to pick anything from the snack bar. LOL

Here she is practicing...

Her skate did fall apart while she was skating.

Giving it another try...

Piper even got to skate. Her skating didn't last very long. She was ready to get those skates off as soon as she hit the skating floor. I think the skates were just too heavy for her little legs and maybe ached her. But she had fun too.
And Garrison had fun. And got lots of cool stuff. And John had fun shopping for him. He picked him out a Nerf gun. He told Gary, Garrison's dad, that he had to buy it for him since he doesn't have any little boys.....

And Garrison got to go into the money box. That was too cute!

After the party, we headed home to pick up John's golf clubs and met Liza, Nicky, and the boys over Aunt Debbie's house. After playing golf on the Wii on Christmas Day, they made a date to play real golf. I'm totally John finally got to go play. It's been quite a while since he's played.
The kids had a great time! The ran through the entire house, rearranged furniture, and made as much noise as they possibly could! They had a blast!
