I like to know how people came up with their blog names. I have always wanted to create a blog, but never did because I could never find the perfect name or title. Now I have the perfectly cute title for my blog. And I have to thank Presley for that!
HeRe'S hOw It CaMe AbOuT....
One night we were driving to the shoe store for John some new running shoes. The girls were all snug in there seats in the back. Presley does most of here thinking back there and she comes up with some of the cutest ideas & conversations. She's such a deep thinker!
Well on this night, Presley was really quite for a long time then she says,"Hey, can we make some Orange Marshmallow Chocolate cookies?" John and I encouraged her to continue thinking of this recipe by thinking of how to make this cookie by asking her what kind of ingredients she'd have to add,how much of everything, what temp, and so on and so on.
After that, she now wants to make Cookie Soup (where I got the title from) and Goldfish Tea. I told her cookie soup was the best! I told there was something out there called "Cookie Crisp" that she oughta try.
So now every now and then when we are driving, she comes up with something that she wants to make and how she'll do it. I told her one day we'll help her make her very own cookbook.
So to all of you out there.....keep an eye in the cookbook section of the bookstores for Presley's cookbook.
And that is where I got Cookie Soup from.

While I am on the subject of Presley and her deep thinking in the car seat, I have another story for you.
After gymnastics a couple of weeks ago, Presley brought up the subject of her having her "period". She knew I was on mine at that time and she had a few questions....
She said she didn't want to ever have her "period" because it makes you feel bad.
She never never never wants one!
I told her that no matter how much she doesn't want it, when she reaches puberty, she's going to have one and she's going to have to live with it and just push through that week of the month. I tell her she'll go through a bunch of changes about then.
She tells me she doesn't want to be a girl anymore. I asked her what she wanted to be and she said she wanted to be a BOY!
I go on to tell her that boys also go through changes when they reach puberty. She asks if they get a "period". I tell her no but their voice drops, they get a bunch of itchy hair on their faces, and they go bald later.
She said, "Well, can I just be a DoG?"
