I'm only a KiD!

Presley wanted to play dress up today. So she & Piper went into her room and emptied the box that held all of her dress up stuff. Well, everything was on the floor when she was done. I mean I could not walk into her room! I told her she had to clean her floor. She dropped her shoulders and frowned at me and crinkled her eyebrows and said. "Fine, I'll go clean my room!" And she stomped off to her room.

After about 10 minutes, she came and got me and said she was done cleaning her room. I went to room and stood at the door and sighed! She really did clean her room. She had put everything that was on her floor on her bed! I asked why she did that. And where is she going to take her nap (it was really close to nap time and I was soooo looking forward to that nap time). She started by telling me that she is 4 now and she doesn't need to take naps. Then she told me that the box bottom fell out so she can't use that anymore & the bed was the only other place she could think of.

Did you notice, the girl is cleaning in heels!

I could tell she knew that wasn't my idea of what I meant when I told her to go clean her room. When she saw me look at her bed, she looked at me and said, "Mom, sometimes that's how kids clean and I am a kid." Ugggg..... I hate it when she does that. She's so freakin' cute!!!

She started telling John that a lot when he tells her to stop doing stuff. So she's learned that she can get away with a lot of stuff from him. Since she's figured out it works on her daddy, she's testing to see if it works on mommy too. And it does works! I ended up fixing her box and cleaning her bed off.
