Weekend Adventures and a call was put thru to Santa

Saturday MoRnInG...

We took the girls to Home Depot for the Kids Workshop that they do on the 1st Saturday of every month. This month, they got to build an art easel.

John helped Piper & Presley pretty much did hers on her own.

This is a pretty typical picture....Presley is always smiling & Juliet is almost always signing to us that she is hungry....

Saturday NiGhT....

We took the girls to Plano to meet Nate and Cindel for the LakeSide Holiday Celebration. They had lots of stuff going on. They lit the Christmas tree, had pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, Starbucks & their hot chocolate, carriage rides with Santa, and more. And then the kids got to go to the Young Chef's Academy and make a few treats.

Then we headed home for more movies.

OH, I nearly FoRgOt......We made Presley call SaNtA last night and tell him that she lied to mommy & daddy. Here's what happened: I found her slide projector (that projects stories up on the wall) filled with water. I asked her who did that and she said Piper did it. John and I said, "Welp, get a belt, I guess Juliet needs to be spanked." (FYI...we never ever spank the girls, we were just setting Presley up) So Presley goes to her dresser and pulls out a belt and looks at us. John says, "Well Juliet needs to be spanked since she poured water in the projector. Go ahead and spank her." Presley said, "Oh Okay..." I stopped her right there and asked her if she was really going to let her sister get in trouble for something she knew she didn't even do. And if she did do it, then I wanted to know who showed her how to do it. PrEsLeY then confessed and said she did it. She poured the water in the projector. So we made her call Santa and tell him that she lied. She was so scared but she did it. Since she told the truth in the end, she didn't get into as much trouble. She said it did fell better to tell the truth instead of the lie.

Friday AfTeRnOoN........

I took the girls to the mall for their Christmas pictures. Presley did fantastic as always, but Piper didn't want to have any part of it...nothing different.

Friday NiGhT....

We had family movie night & threw blankets and pillows on the floor & watched a Christmas movie. We watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
