A Serious Playdate!

Today we had the most wonderful play date with Liza and the boys! It was also soooooooo hot! The weatherman said it was 96 degrees hot! That's some serious heat! But that didn't stop those 4 kids and two pups from having some serious fun!

I didn't get any pictures either! I should be kicked out of the "mommy club"! I kept forgetting my camera at home. LUCKILY though, Liza had hers and I am sure she got a few great shots!

The kids had such a blast, we started out the day by going to the little neighborhood park and we took Maggie & Nina with us to that one. Then we came back to the house and locked up the pups and went to the new Rosa Cafe Tortilla Factory for lunch.

After doing some serious scarfing down of our lunch we went to another park. The kids did pencils rolls down a hill, saw a bunny, saw a bunch of baby ducks, and played at the playground. Then we visited the rec center for a potty break then headed home.

The kids were no where ready for the play date to come to an end, so we'll just have to continue the play date next week. :)

After dinner, John took us to this new CUTE ice cream shop. All yogurt! So yummy!

IT'S SUMMER TIME!

Well, maybe not officially, but it sure is feeling it!

The girls took total advantage of the heat with some cold watermelon and water time!

And well, Little Maggie Belle isn't a big fan of the heat. She doesn't even really like being outside much unless we are out there with her. I love that Maggie Belle!!!!

And our new little resident mamma bird's baby poked his or her head out today to see what the world looked like! We've heard chirping for weeks now. And I think the babies are getting braver and braver every day! Only one is poking it's head out so far, but I know there has to be more with all that chirping coming from that nest!
