That's still what's going on in my house. Recap: I took Juliet to the doctor on Monday and they tested her for RSV. It was positive.
Presley started coughing and running fever later that evening. I have just been managing it at home. But this morning I decided to take Presley in and have her looked at as well since this was day number 4 with a fever.
Welp, It wasn't very pretty...... As soon as Presley saw those swabs come walking through the door in the nurse's hands, she started freaking out! I told the nurse she may want to grab a 3rd person. Presley doesn't do well getting poked on at the doctors office. One nurse held her torso and head still, I had her lower half, and the other nurse had to swab her nose for RSV and "tickle" her throat for strep. I thought Presley was going to bite that lady!
After that, she calmed down and we read books till the results came back.
She, too, has RSV!
Both of my girls have it! Can you believe it?????? Poor things! John and I are just going to have to give them some extra TLC this week.
Presley was cute last night about getting sick. She started loosing her voice for a few minutes, so I started looking all over her body to try and find it. Like under her hair, behind her ears, in her arm pit..... She giggle and cleared her throat and said, " I found it." I asked her where she found her voice at and she said it was hiding in her throat. She sooo funny even when she is feeling crappy.
I nearly forgot to mention something HUGE! Piper hasn't had a pacifier since MONDAY!!!! 4 DAYS!!!! That's huge around here! She's been to sick to even think about that thing!!!!
