Cookie Soup: Has it really been 2 years????

I can't believe it's been over 2 years since my last post! My girls have grown so much in these last two years! Piper has started school in these last two years (and I missed her 1st day of school)! Presley has become a 3rd grader! A 3rd GRADER! And she has stronger opinions than she had when she was in kindergarten! And she's about to be 9! And Piper is 6 and 1/2! I have an almost 9 year old and a 6 and 1/2 year old! Simply Unbelievable!!!

Oh AND we adopted another dog since my last post. And we've started Girl Scouts! With both girls! On top of softball in the spring and fall, basketball and gymnastics in the winter, and karate in the summer! That's a bit out of order, but you get the picture!

AND, when I last left off of blogging, we had been moving into the new house in our new neighborhood. Well, nothing has changed. We are still remodeling and moving in. We JUST finished our master bathroom that we started 2 years ago! And we are LOVING it! We are about to start on the kitchen...I've completely lost my love and ability to cook in my current casket of a kitchen. I'm not kidding when I say I lost my ability to cook. I blame it mostly on a bad oven and stove. But the girls often beg me not to cook and they have banned me from ever cooking a Papa Murphy's pizza in the house.....I almost burned down the house when I cooked John's heart Valentine pizza last year. :( oops!!!

And have I mentioned the amazing people we have met over the last 3 years of living here that have become some of our most dear friends! Amazing people! Amazing community!

I have so much to catch you up on...enjoy the journey of the last 2 years, we surely have been enjoying it!

Tonight we went skating with the girl's Girl Scout troop! First night I've ever taken Piper skating where I didn't have to rent her a trainer! I just told her to go figure it out and skate. And she DID!

Presley loves skating! She's my rock star!

Speaking of Girl Scouts...our girls have been doing some amazing things! There last project has been about "bullying"! They've worked on the Million Misfit Sock March to take a stance against bullying! And the made a music video! Check it out on YouTube!

Piper was a Character Trait winner and had the privilege of riding on the elementary school float in the Homecoming parade! She was super excited!!!

We have started juicing too! I'm determined to get some veggies in my tummy!!! Never knew I could eat them and not taste them with a little help from a whole lot of fruit!

The girls even love juicing! Look at her hiding those carrots, celery, and spinach for her mamma! What a good girl!

Just can't say enough how much we love these girls!

They love science and Professor Brainius!

Softball...Piper's season is over. Presley still has one game left. Weather permitting, it'll be tomorrow! Piper had her end of season party last night at Tappy's Yogurt!
