I cannot believe I have a 1st grader! I hope she knows how proud I am of her! She's loving being in the 1st grade now too. She does make a point often to remind me that she is no longer a kindergartner. Or if I ask her a question like, "Do you need your nap pad today?" or "Do you get lined up for lunch in order of who is buying and who brought their lunch?" She says, "MOM, I am not a kindergartner anymore!" I guess I need to learn the ways of the 1st grader.
This morning, she woke promptly at 5:30 a.m., hopped in the shower, dressed, ate, and snuggled with her lil new puppy! That lil' Louie is such a sweetie!
7:20 and we are off to school.
She settled in quickly.
Notice the "BIG" kid desks...she isn't a kindergartner anymore....no more round tables.
Piper wasn't leaving there without giving her LOTS of sisterly lovin'!
