Crafting Fun!

I have gotten back into crafting here lately! I have so missed sewing and crafting! Its so therapeutic for me, just like my dark romance novels (my vampire books). But I find that I get in the zone and block out everything else going on (i.e. my children), so I have to set the timer for my crafting and try not to add a few more minutes.

Monsters Galore!!!!!

The girls always lend a hand in creating these fun loving little guys and gals. The usually pick the arms/legs/ and create the faces for them. The girls are always up for creating a monster! They want all of their cousins and friends to have one. So we've been some monster making fools lately!

We had a play date with Helena back in April and she loved the girls Monster. So she got 1st pick of my 1st batch of newly created monsters.

Our one eyed blue friend found a friend in Miss Helena and now resides in Germany.

Our multi eyed orange guy found a friend in cousin Joey and now resides in Fredericksburg. (I don't have a pic of the two of them together, I wished I did!)

This red little monster wasn't allowed to leave Piper's clutches (according to her)! So after months of me trying to give it away to a cousin, I finally gave in and let her claim it as her own friend.

And this two faced cutie had the same story except with Presley. She wouldn't even release this cutie to her grandma Ragan. So Grandma Ragan has to wait for another two faced cutie to be born to her.

Nate found a companion in this orange/brown little guy with a BIG surprise look on his face.

These next little guys, the Cowboy Monster and the Sea Monster also found a friend....

Next is my first baby monster. He's so sweet!

Sweet Baby Monster found a friend in Aubrey and her little baby bump.

Then Presley and Piper requested a baby monster of their own. So I sat out all the pieces and buttons and threads and they created their own baby monster. All I did was put it together for them. My girls love their monsters! They go to the movies with them and get used as a pillow, they go to bed with them to protect them from bad dreams, they travel with them in the car, Those little guys do everything with Presley and Piper!

These last two guys are still looking for a home and I still have several more to create for a few more special friends and cousins.

Other crafts!

I forget how much I love making baby blankets! Here's one I made for Aubrey.

And Presley had always wanted some of those Twinkle Toes made by Sketchers. The $40+ shoes. We'll we turned a pair of her old shoes into her very own Twinkle Toes & these have her initials on them!

And I decorated the girls little coin purses to.

I think I am a little addicted to bedazzling things now! It's really fun! I tried to get John to let me bedazzle some of his stuff but that was a no go! :(
