It looks like it is suppose to rain everyday until next week. Uggg!
So we headed to the park for some fun! John rode his bike with Juliet in tow (she was in her little bike trailer eatin' snacks and getting some fresh air). And Presley rode her bike while I walked/jogged along side with Maggie Belle. We did about 2 miles and after our ride we let the girls play in the playground. It was a perfect night!
Maggie says, let me out and let's get running!
Here we go!
I absolutely love this park! It's my favorite. It has so many trees, a creek, hiking trails, biking trails, field for kite flying or throwing balls, playground for big kids and one for little kids, and a picnic area. LOVE IT!
I love this park!
Taking a break half way thru & taking in the beautiful scenery.
I started to get a little nervous at the playground. The little girl that Presley started playing with had a runny nose. John and I just looked at each other and told Presley she shouldn't play with sick kids. Does that sound bad? I am just scared of this swine flu! You never know, right? I sanitized the girls as soon as we got to the car and then thoroughly washed them when we got home.
This swine flu is kinda scary... to me. Especially since there is a school out here that I saw on the news that was closed till next week. Right in my backyard. John thinks people are freaking out way to much...

Before heading to the park, we went out to check on our garden. The girls were so happy to see what they planted was actually growing. Pretty neat!
Piper's peas. I am sure they will be yummy!
And the flowers from Juliet's birthday party are still looking gorgeous!

Kids really do love growing things! The boys check out their little sprouting flowers daily.
Also, I don't blame you on being scared. I told Z to not play with kids who don't cover their mouth's when they sneeze or cough. Sounds awful, but I too am a wreck!
But I also agree with John, they keep saying deaths, deaths, deaths!
Yet, if you check people die every year of regular flu.
But I am a wreck every flu season anyway, this just adds to it.
I'm even scared about this Saturday, exposing the kids to people.
i know, i am too. do you think we should even take the kids? the weather might be kina crappy and muddy. i am really debating n just staying home with them. My friend christy's mom passed away and her service is saturday morning. i might just go to that instead.
Sorry about your friends mom :(
You know it's probably best if the kids stay home.
I REALLY want them to do the crafts. They are saying scattered showers for Saturday so there's a chance it might not rain (like our zoo trip) but if its crowded with germy kids??
Ugh lets keep them home, don't you think?
Also it rains on Sunday!
Want to get together Saturday instead?
So that way the guys can watch a scary movie and us gals and kids can do something else.
