If you need a dentist for your little one, I highly recommend them!
We go the office in Coppell & the girls dentist is Dr. Sonia Louca. She is so wonderful with the girls! http://www.kidsdentalonline.com/
I made an appointment for the girls on 2 different days. I thought it would be hard by myself. But this morning the girls had a great start. Their behavior was great, they were not fighting, they just started out the door on a good note. So when we got there, I asked if there was a way they could see both girls. They squeezed Presley in and we were still out within an hour!
Presley did amazingly well! She got her x-rays and everything. She was somewhat scared last year and she didn't get a great cleaning, but this time around was perfect! They offered her sunglasses to where while she got her cleaning done so that the light wouldn't bother her. She thought that was cool!
Piper didn't do so well. She's not to keen on people digging around in her mouth. Not even me. It's a chore to brush her teeth even! But she'll get use to it and it'll get easier for her.
Neither girl had cavities! YAY!! The only bad news is that Presley's x-rays showed that her lateral incisor were not seen on the films. That means, she either hasn't developed them or she doesn't have them at all...that leads to implants when she is about 16 or 17 years old. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that she's a slow developer. Only time will tell though.
Here are some pics from our trip to the dentist office.
Oh, Presley asked the reception if they do birthday parties.
They were all smiles before going in, here they are showing their pre-cleaned teeth.
We watched cartoons on the ceiling.
Cheeeze!!! Piper is watching Dora. She did great until she saw the white coats walk in!
Squirmy butt!
Piper reflecting on her experience...
Se loves her new toothbrush and octopus.
Oh and the girls got loot bags when they were done filled with goodies and floss and coupons and stuff.
Presley's turn! I am soooo proud of her!
See the shades! Great idea!
And I copy of her x-rays. You can see her permanent front teeth, but the teeth beside them are not there & should be in most kids her age (per the dentist)
Princess Presley's nice clean teeth!
Finally got the Princess Piper clean teeth. She wouldn't open her mouth again until we got outdoors.
