Today, was such a nice day! And we finally got something...actually a couple of things done that we have been putting off.
This morning started by Maggie yelping to get out of her crate and head outside...that started at 530 am. She is already use to that morning walk that John takes her on before he goes to work during the week. It's just sooo much harder to get out of bed that early on the weekends! But he did it. And she was ready for another walk by 830 am! That pup loves to be oustide moving! So the girls and I walked Maggie for about an hour while John got ready for our day.
After hanging out with Maggie, we headed to Home Depot for the kid's workshop. The got to build a race car track thing. It was pretty cute. The love going!

After Home Depot we had a bite to eat at Chili's, then picked up a few groceries from Walmart, then headed home to do that much needed stuff.
I FINALLY trimmed the bushes in the front yard (they were getting way out of control) and cleaned the leaves out of the garden! I have been putting that off for months. The last time I tried doing yard work like that was next to impossible while having to watch the girls at the same time. It helped that our neighbor came over and played with the girls. So this time wasn't so bad at all, they kept busy with bubbles, snacks, and digging in the dirt. Now I am ready to get some new mulch.
AND John and Ivan got to go to the hardware store and get the wood to start working on the fence in that backyard. That project is set to begin tomorrow!
AND curious Maggie has been hanging around the AC unit. She chewed off some of the foam around the tubing, so John has to build something to go around that now to keep her from breaking our AC.
Our night ended by having a pizza picnic on the living room floor, the girls played with play-doh, bathed and crashed as soon as their heads hit the pillow!
What a wonderful day! Yay!
