Sick baby and the last few days...

Today, Saturday
My little Piper woke from her nap this about 3 o'clock this afternoon a little bit grumpy. About 5 minutes later she had started throwing up. She isn't running fever, just vomiting about every 15 - 30 minutes. She's mostly dry heaving and it looks so painful! She just woke up from her evening nap... she slept for about 2 1/2 hours. I am I am trying to feed her some toast and pedialyte. Wish me luck!!!
It is the absolute worst feeling in the world watching your babies be sick! I wished I could take it all from them when they are sick. I am sure she picked up something from a toy at one of the many toy stores that we've been to in the last week.

Presley worked on a puzzle that Nater bought her for her birthday. She said that was the best birthday present ever!
Tonight, Presley and John ran up to Target to get a few things. They came back with a Christmas tree for her and Juliet. It's so cute. It's a tiny purple tinsel tree. I am sure Juliet is going to be in awww of it tomorrow. And she'll probably try to take it down and carry it around...

Yesterday, Black Friday
We bravely went out to a couple of stores and did some shopping. It really wasn't bad as I thought it was going to be. The stores actually looked a little empty.

We did get a bunch of Christmas shopping done!
And I made a ham for us to snack on through out the weekend. Yum!

Thursday, Turkey Day
Well we started out in the morning, very early in the morning, getting ready to do the Turkey Trot. It was so cold when we left the house so we packed up a bunch of blankets for the girls so they could snuggle up in the jogger. Presley ate her breakfast on the way there in the car and Piper had hers in the stroller...kinda like breakfast in bed!

This was the 1st year that John and I have done the Turkey Trot and I have never seen so many people in such a small space ever! I think they said there were about 34,000 runners and trotters out there. It was crazy!

Anyways, John ran his 8 miles with the TNT group and the girls and I fought to get through the crowded 3 mile route. They allowed dogs....so our route was kinda stinky. I was literally having to go around dog poo! It was gross and smelly! Other than that, I think we had a pretty good time and will more than likely make it a turkey day tradition.

It took us about 8 minutes to get up to the starting line!

Here's the crowd that I had to fight my way through. Presley was upset that she barely got to get out of the jogger and do any running of her own. I let her out for a minute or two before making her get back in. She was nearly ran over by several rude people.

Sometimes we were stuck and moved pretty slowly, so I got to get a couple of cool picks of downtown. Here's one of them.

Oh, and they had bands playing every so often. That was pretty cool.

We finally made it across the finish line and met up with John.

The girls got to ride on some ponies. Juliet was excited until she came face to face with the pony.

The girls were just absolutely pooped when we were done!

After the Turkey Trot, we went home and got ready to go to Aunt Debbie's and Uncle John's house for dinner. We had a really nice and had some great food! And John got his broccoli cheese casserole that he's been waiting for since last Thanksgiving. And I made my zucchini bread again. SO YUMMY! After everyone ate, the kids played video games and watched cartoons & some of the adults played Mexican Train.

It was a great non stressful Thanksgiving Day.
I hope everyone else had a great day too!

Wednesday
We took the Subaru to get the oil changed and checked out all the new cars there and went next door to see the town & country van thingies

After that, we took the girls to the girls to Chuck E Cheese.

It is still Presley's birthday week... LOL
