Saturday was Presley's 1st softball game!

It was awesome!!!!!

Presley rocked the softball field.

Piper was the team bat girl.

John is assistant coach.

And I was the dug out mom!

It was a total family affair!

And in the stands was Aunt Stacey and Cousin Nater!

Hooray for family!!!

I Want This...I Want That...

Today I took Piper to Target and to Toys R Us to let her create her birthday wish list.

She had a blast!

All she has been asking for this year is a purple dress, purple skater shoes, and a panda bear farting a rainbow skateboard!

That's it. That is all she wants.

But I know there's lot more out there that she'd love to have...and I was right!


Here's a couple of things she wished for!

 

The Uniform Has Been Revealed!

Tonight at softball practice, the girls got their uniforms.

The girls are gonna look so cute in their new outfits!

I love this picture of the kids...look how Piper is hanging out in the back just perfectly!

Nighty Night & Sweet Dreams

Before I go to bed, it's part of my nightly routine to go into the girls room to check on them.  You know, to make sure they hadn't fallen out of bed, make sure they haven't kicked every inch of their blankets off, and to sneak in one last good night kiss on their forehead.

Tonight when I went to their room, I noticed something

a lil' different and sweet.

Piper had crawled into bed with her big sister.

That warms my heart...

John And His Angels

Friday was a BIG day!

John and I spent most of the day at Presley's school volunteering for the Barnyard Bash. And Piper spent the day with her grandma and cousins.  We decided to go out for an early dinner to Sonic since the weather was absolutely beautiful and it was Friday night!

It was a fun dinner and I got some cute pics with John and his sweet lil' angels!

 

 

 

On a side note, the Barnyard Bash was so much fun!  We had a petting farm, pony rides, relay games, veggie farming, picnic, and an ice cream man!!!!!!

Let's Go Fly A Kite

It was a beautiful day to fly a kite!

It just needed to be a little windier.

But we gave it a go and headed to the park for a picnic and to see if we could get some of our kites up in the air.

Piper, I think, had more fun being silly! 

The simple kites went up easy, but the ones we really wanted to fly, like the dragons and the star wars one were way to heavy to get up.  

 

It was a great park day!

We look forward to more windy days!

Today was just Piper and me at the zoo!

This was pretty incredible to watch.  They were showing us how they examine the lions.  It was kinda scary being so close to their teeth!

Now it's time to leave. 

It so sad Piper says.  She didn't want to leave.  She said for me to leave Presley at school and we stay at the zoo.  

It felt so great to spend some quality time with my lil' Jules on our Mommy Piper trip to the Dallas Zoo!
