My Sick Presley

I jinxed the girls yesterday. I was talking to Xenia and said the girls have been well for a while now...No illnesses.

Today, about 230-ish, it hits Presley hard. Horrible headache, upset tummy, vomiting. Poor thing. I was so concerned because she was crying asking me to take her to the doctor because her head hurt so bad.

So I took her and they just did a few tests and diagnosed her with a gastro virus. They gave her some meds for her nausea and a script for more.

On the way home, she threw up again. Luckily we were at a red light and I hopped in back to help her. And she had her vomit bucket in her, so even if I didn't get back there she would've been okay. She kept telling me that I was going to get a ticket for riding backwards in the back seat.

What a sweet thing....sick and still thinking of others. Very inspiring!

More Spring Break Fun!!!!

Meagan came over to visit with us for a few days on Thursday to help continue the fun the girls had for Spring Break. They loved having her soooo much! She played and played and played with them!

Thursday night

we hung out at home, played in the backyard, grilled dinner, and just got caught up.

Meagan brought the girls some goodies.

Friday,

we did a few errands in the afternoon & went to eat at Sweet Tomatoes and headed to the mall at night. The girls couldn't get enough of her. They wanted to hold her hand and sit beside her....

And Saturday,

John took Meagan, Presley, and Piper to the zoo so I could get some housework done. They had an absolute great time. And Meagan took some great pictures for me!

Spring Break Fun!!!!!!

This has been a long and FUN spring break for the girls! They've had play dates and an endless amount of fun!

We started by skipping gymnastics on Tuesday and heading out to meet Barbara and Maddy at the park for some fun, picnic, and to feed the ducks. We actually ended up playing at two different playgrounds that day.

Presley waited soooo patiently for Maddy's arrival. Oh and at some point in the day, she decided that she wasn't going to call her Maddy anymore, from now on she wanted to call her Madalyn. Not sure why, but that was a very big girl decision.

These girls have the most infectious laugh! They giggled and giggled and giggled! Here they are playing hand slaps....silly.

Still Giggling....who knows what they think is so funny.

I am not sure what is so funny about the girls shoes, but obviously, it was pretty darn funny....it had those girls cracking up!

That was Tuesday's play date with Maddy, or excuse me...Madalyn.

We did all sorts of stuff around the house! The kiddos blew bubbles, painted, played with Maggie Belle, played in the water......so much! Liza has a few words posted on it too. Check out her blog at http://www.monkeylemur.blogspot.com/ .

Maggie was being so cute jumping at the kids bubbles and trying to catch them....but of course I didn't get a single shot of that. But here's a cute pic of her being cute with sand on her nose.

Everynow and then, I'd look over at her (Juliet) and she'd have a big bubble coming out of her mouth. It was pretty funny!

Yummy treats after getting wet. They were all so cold and shivering while they were eating their icie treats. Except Piper of course....she was dry!

Now one to smoothie and painting time!!

For dinner, we headed to Luby's...the girls LOVE the jello there. Anyways, Razzle Dazzle went around making balloon stuff for the kids.

Welp, that's all for now folks....I am soooo sleepy.

Scary People!!!

I went to the store tonight at 930 - 1100 pm. That was some major scary stuff! Lots of weirdos were hanging around. John told me to grab a coke and a candy bar and his i-pod and enjoy going by myself. NO WAY did I enjoy myself. No coke, no candy bar, no i-pod. I wanted to hurry and get out of there ASAP!

On a happier note: I saved $69 tonight!!!!

St Paddy's Dash Down Greenville

Saturday we did the St. Paddy's Dash Down Greenville Avenue (5k fun run) along with Mom, Kim, Stacey, Gabe, and Nate. When we were waiting for the race to get started, we saw Chris Thompson! It was sooo good to see him. He got to see the girls. It was just great to see him. Green beard and all.

It was sooooo cold. Presley didn't seem to mind it so much but Juliet threw a fit until we started moving.

We let the girls get out of the jogger and run the last 1/2 mile or so.

At the 1st mile marker, they had green beer waiting for you. John had 3 cups of it. EWWWW!!! I couldn't bring myself to drink green beer...it looked gross. Anyways, John, the girls, and I finished first. Then Stacey, Gabe, and Kim. And Mom and Nater came strolling through the finish line. Like I said it was fun.

OH and it was soooo much easier for me to run that one than that frigid Mardi Gras 5k! I kept telling myself that this 5k was one step closer to my pre-baby body!!!! I can see it right around the corner.....HELLO PRE- BABY BODY!

After the run we met everyone at Central Market to get the kiddos warmed up and to enjoy a few samples. I totally unleashed the Ragan's in there! They were in heaven! They loved it!

After Central Market we went to Baker's Rib for good ole barbeque and to wait for the parade to start. The barbeque was soooooo yummy and again, it was nice and warm to be inside. And we doing what the Ragan's do best....we took it over!
